There are two different applications depending on whether you are interested in the campus program or the online program. We strongly recommend talking with our MPA Graduate Advisor Karolyn Field at kfield@uta.edu to determine which program is the best for you.

Scholarships
There are several scholarships specific to students in public administration and planning. Most are awarded for the period of the degree length and typical awards are between $500-2,000 yearly.

Financial Aid
Graduate students may complete the FAFSA/TAFSA to determine eligibility for scholarships and financial aid. Complete the FAFSA online at StudentAid.gov, UTA school code: 003656. Graduate students also have opportunities to receive financial support through the Office of Graduate Studies and through most academic departments. Other Ways to Fund Your College Education
Graduate students are eligible for federal loans and can borrow up to $20,500 each year in Direct Unsubsidized Loans. Graduate students may also apply for Direct PLUS Loans, which they can use for remaining costs not covered by other financial aid. Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA to see if they qualify for federal loans. Banks and credit unions offer private student loans, for which students may apply directly with the lender.
