The UTA Division of Data Science's master's degree program in Applied Statistics and Data Science (ASDS) includes an internship component which provides valuable experience for students at corporations in the D/FW Metroplex. STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

American Statistical Association (ASA) Student Chapter
The ASA Student Chapter at the University of Texas at Arlington promotes academic excellence, professional development, and community among students in Statistics and Data Science. The Chapter organizes research talks, workshops, panels, and networking events to enhance learning and collaboration. With guidance from the Division of Data Science, we connect students with mentors, researchers, and professionals. These activities help members build technical and communication skills while showcasing their research. The Chapter fosters a supportive environment that strengthens the Department of Mathematics, the Division of Data Science and the broader UTA community.
