Gerontology Organization Volunteers to Raise Awareness

The Gerontology Organization (G.O.) in the School of Social Work aims to provide awareness and services for the geriatric population in the DFW area while giving Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral level students an opportunity to explore their interests and enhance their skills in working with this population. Students recently volunteered to make and deliver Valentine's Day cards for 78 residents living at the Oakwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Arlington.
