Degree you are pursuing at UTA: Master of Science in Geoscience

UTA has a warm and welcoming environment for students. There so many organizations and events on campus that one can involve themselves in. It is a great way to socialize, make friends and connections. UTA also has a beautiful campus and an amazing activity center.

Living in the United States has made me more responsible and independent. When it comes to time management, managing finances, cooking meals, buying groceries, and amongst all this making time to study, complete weekly assignments, teach classes, and maintain my grades, I believe being student here has taught me to balance work and personal life. Pursuing a degree at UTA has also challenged me because I was introduced to different teaching methods and flexible curriculums. I have the ability to choose the courses I would like to pursue that are useful towards my career goals. Also, many of my courses involve self-study, which has helped me in research since I often have to search articles, reports, research papers, and books at the library or online.

After earning a degree from UTA, I plan to gain some good work experience and explore the US. It has always been a dream to come to the United States, and I would love to experience other cities such as New York, Chicago, San Diego, and visit some natural parks such as Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon.
