BugHouse Student Success CenterHackUTA is UTA’s premier student hackathon, bringing together hundreds of students for 24 hours of coding, creativity, and collaboration. Open to all university students and all skill levels, the event offers mentorship, hands-on learning, and the chance to compete for exciting prizes with support from industry sponsors.
The CSE Senior Design program at UTA is a two-semester, team-based capstone experience where Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering seniors apply their skills to real-world projects. Working in small teams with faculty guidance and industry or institutional sponsors, students design, build, and deliver complete systems from concept to final demonstration. Senior Design prepares students for professional practice through hands-on problem solving, collaboration, and practical engineering experience.
