Field Trips and Tours

Our Engineering Ambassadors are happy to lead your group in fun activities and a tour of our facilities to help your students understand what engineers do, and the career opportunities available to them.

If you are interested in arranging a field trip for your middle or high school class to visit the College of Engineering, please read our guidelines below and complete the request form. We will email you to coordinate the details of your group's campus visit.

Individual Tour Guidelines

• Individual tours are available in-person and virtually (through Zoom) by request.
• Once a request is received, please allow up to 5-7 work days to receive a tour confirmation.
• The College of Engineering tours take approximately 1-hour to complete.
• Tours are only available Monday- Friday from 9am-5pm, with the last tour starting at 4pm.
• Please note, we will not run College of Engineering Tours during university closures or during periods of extreme weather conditions (i.e.: excessive hear, thunderstorms, ice, snow, etc.).
• All minors must be accompanied by an adult during the UT Arlington College of Engineering Tour.

Group Tour/Field Trip Guidelines

• Group Tours/ Field Trips are available virtually (Zoom) and in-person.
• Three - Four weeks’ notice is required for a Group Tour or Field Trip.
• Group Tours/ Field Trips are only available Monday- Friday from 9am- 5pm.
• Please note, we will not run College of Engineering Group Tours/ Field Trips during university closures or during periods of extreme weather conditions (i.e.: excessive heat, thunderstorms, ice, snow, etc.)
• All school groups including minors must be accompanied by teachers, staff, and/or chaperones from the visiting school during the UT Arlington College of Engineering STEM Field Trip.
