Engineering With Honors

The College of Engineering, in conjunction with the Honors College, offers students the opportunity to earn an Honors bachelor's degree in many of its majors.

Students who complete the University’s Honors Program will receive an Honors Bachelor's of Science or Art in their chosen discipline, which will set them apart from other applicants regardless of them wanting to go to graduate school, medical school, law school, or directly into the workforce. All Honors coursework will also be designated on your official transcript.

The Honors Degree Program is competitive. Students may apply when they enter as freshmen, if they are already currently enrolled at UTA, or if they are transferring to UTA.
