UTA’s Disability Studies Minor leads off the ADA25 Georgia Legacy Parade celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990
As part of the international Society for Disability Studies conference, a delegation from UTA’s Disability Studies Minor helped to lead off the ADA25 Georgia Legacy Parade in Atlanta: Disability Studies Minor founding director Dr. Sarah Rose, now former Office for Students with Disabilities director Penny Acrey, Disability Studies graduate and now former DS advisor Trevor Engel, and UTA History PhD Nate Kogan, who specializes in disability history.
