UTA Passport Office

Welcome to the UTA Passport Office! As an official U.S. passport application acceptance facility, we are here to help you and your family apply for passports with ease. Located within the Study Abroad Office at the University of Texas at Arlington, our office proudly serves both the UTA community and the greater Arlington area. You do not need to be affiliated with UTA to use our services. We accept applications for new passports, provide passport photo services, and welcome applicants of all ages.

The UTA Passport Office offers first time applicants a convenient location to submit their passport application. If you are seeking to renew an existing passport, please visit the Department of State website for instructions on how to complete this process online or via mail. The UTA Passport Office is unable to accept and process renewals; however, we do have DS-82 forms available for your convenience.

The UTA Passport Office offers a photo service. These are valid for US immigration, passport, and visa applications.

  • $12 fee for 2 photos, either printed or digital.
  • Please do not wear white clothing for photos. These are taken against a white background, and white clothing can cause the photo to turn out incorrectly. It is recommended that you wear solid, darker colors that contrast with the white background.
  • Photos are available for applicants of all ages, including infants.
  • Please refer to the US Department of State website for more information on US Passport Photo requirements.
