Global Grounds
The Office of International Education’s longest and most popular event – join hundreds of students from across the U.S. and around the world at Global Grounds to enjoy free coffee, chai, snacks and music. Held every Thursday during the fall and spring semester in the Palo Duro Lounge of the University Center from 4:00-5:30pm. We love co-hosting with student orgs, staff and faculty! MavsConnect
MavsConnect serves as UTA's central hub for international and cultural programming by promoting events, fostering collaboration, creating resources for student organizations, providing accessible engagement opportunities, and capturing student feedback to inform institutional priorities. MavsConnect welcomes all students, faculty, and staff.
International Week
I-Week is the largest annual celebration of culture at UTA, traditionally featuring student organization activities such as the International Food Fair, Fashion Show, International Exhibits, Global Extravaganza and a variety of cultural learning activities.
International Education Week
Each year, the Office of International Education celebrates the value of cultural exchanges and contributions of our international students during International Education Week (IEW).
International Career Week
Each Spring semester, the Department of Global Engagement hosts International Career Week. This impactful week-long initiative includes workshops, presentations, and events that prepare students for the job and internship search, as well as provide strategies for job interviews and networking opportunities.
