Verification of Non-Filing Letter

Requesting the Verification of Non-Filing Letter from the IRS

The Form 4506-T must be submitted to the IRS to request a Verification of Non-Filing Letter. The UTA Office of Financial Aid does not accept the Form 4506-T.

You are able to request a Verification of Non-Filing Letter by:

For 23/24 (2021 tax year), the letter must be dated October 1, 2022 or later.

For 22/23 (2020 tax year), the letter must be dated October 1, 2021 or later.

UTA will not accept any Verification of Non-Filing Letters sent to our office directly from the IRS. You must submit the letter to our office once you receive it from the IRS. Please include the student's UTA ID on the letter. You can submit your letter via:
