Survey

UTA’s People and Culture Survey team partnered with Gallup to develop a survey that gives faculty and staff an opportunity to identify UTA’s strengths and improvement areas. This employee engagement survey is the first step in our goal to build a better workplace and a better UTA.

QUESTIONS

The survey features questions developed to measure faculty and staff engagement and perception of UTA's culture based on Gallup's Q12, which focuses on needs that direct supervisors can meet to improve employee productivity.

The engagement survey is an important step in UTA’s strategy to continue to improve the UTA workplace. It will allow UTA to gather input from every employee which will be used to further develop and strengthen our workplace and culture.

The survey is less than 50 questions. This is the first time that UTA will be asking every employee for input on their workplace experience. The results will be used on our continual journey toward an even better future.

Confidentiality

We partnered with Gallup, a leading third-party survey administrator, to develop the survey based on Gallup’s Q12 framework. This ensures all responses are confidential.

Gallup provides a minimum reporting threshold so that individual respondents cannot be identified. If fewer people respond to the survey than the reporting threshold, their results will not be thrown out. Instead, they will be rolled up into a larger group so that their opinions can be heard, but the individuals cannot be identified.
