For Researchers

CETD and Faculty Entrepreneurs Work Best Together

Not all research is applied, and not all innovations lead to licenses. Just as humanity’s understanding of the world would be nowhere without fundamental knowledge, its ability to benefit from that knowledge would be nowhere without entrepreneurial experimentation and business pursuits. Working together, we are excited by the boundaries we will push, the meaningful changes we will create, and social benefit we will inspire.

Faculty members at UTA can tap into resources from The Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Development (CETD), like our web-based invention disclosure procedure and conflict of interest policy that enable research to move at the speed of business and can find ways to lend their expertise to businesses in the community to drive innovative projects forward.
