Innovation Day celebrates and showcases the innovative, transformative research and undergraduate capstone projects being done by UTA College of Engineering students. Community members and industry leaders are invited to participate and observe the depth and breadth of research occurring within the Maverick community.

Division of Enterprise Development
The University of Texas at Arlington, Division for Enterprise Development (DED) provides customized solutions beyond traditional education, training, and consulting programs. The division offers an array of leadership and organizational development seminars, workshops and interventions targeted to our customers’ needs. These services are conducted online, at our clients’ places of business, and at off-site locations throughout the world. Whether it’s providing leadership training services, sharing insight for navigating government regulations and processes, or creating guidance plans for philanthropic and non-profit organizations, DED is uniquely poised to serve each of these needs and more.
In 2021, UTA partnered with the city of Fort Worth to help 34 city employees earn a master’s degree in public administration. Fernando Costa, Fort Worth assistant city manager, said the city wanted to offer this program to its employees because it knew the payoff would be worthwhile. Under the program, the city pays for part of the cost of taking the MPA coursework.
