Titling Protocol For Administrative Support Roles

As part of the University's efforts to create a market-based compensation program, UTA has implemented criteria for Administrative Support roles. To maintain consistency and move our compensation practices forward, UTA Compensation will review new and replacement Administrative Support titles to ensure they align with the established criteria.

Administrative Support Job Titles

  • Primary Job Function: Performs basic administrative and office support activities, such as greeting visitors, answering phones, maintaining files, and drafting basic correspondence. Work is performed under supervision.
  • Support: Provides administrative support to an office, department, program, or center.
