Communication Technology Major
The Next Big Idea
If you know what HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, User Experience, UI/UX, PHP, SQL, Design Thinking, SEO and CMS mean, you may be a perfect fit for UTA's Communication Technology program, where students learn to analyze, design and apply technological solutions to today's "one-click" communication needs.
Communication Technology Highlights
Crafting Website Experiences for Community Partners
Students in the capstone class worked with community partners to build organizational websites. One of the partners they worked with last Spring, Young STEM Professionals, adopted the students’ design and implemented the site last Fall. Currently the student teams in this class are working with three organizations including Caring Compassionate Hearts & Helping Hands in Dallas, Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in Arlington, and Arlington Goodtimes Chorus.
