Personal mailboxes are contracted by term: Fall, Spring, and Summer. A mailbox key is required for access and can be obtained from the UC Post Office during normal business hours. For terms and conditions to contract a mailbox from the UC Post Office, download and fill out the Mailbox Contract Form below.

P.O. Box

Location: Inside the University Center across from the Market

Hours: Monday through Friday; 8 am - 4 pm; Closed when UTA is closed

You can open a P.O. box in the fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Only one individual or organization may open a P.O. box. (Sharing is prohibited.)

Individuals must use their names as shown on their UTA ID cards.

University organizations must use their official names.

You must provide a valid email address when opening a P.O. box for important instructions and deadlines.

There is a $10 fee per semester for those not staying in a residence hall who want to open or keep a P.O. box.

There is no deposit to obtain a P.O. box key after opening a P.O. box.

Mail Services cannot retrieve your mail for you if you forget your key.

Mail received during federal holidays will be picked up by the postal service on the next UTA business day.

You must advise correspondents and shippers to use your official organization name or the name on your UTA ID card and your P.O. box number to prevent delays.

You will receive a package notification label in your P.O. box when a package is ready for pickup.

You will receive an email at the end of each semester with instructions and deadlines for returning your P.O. box keys or renewing your P.O. box.

You will receive a receipt when you return your key. Keep this as proof that you returned your key.

If you are not returning for the next semester, you must return your key no later than the date on the email you received at the end of the semester.

A Lost Key Charge of $25 will be billed to your MyMav account if keys are not returned on time.
