Our Students

U.S. News & World Report ranks UTA fifth nationally for providing a racially and ethnically diverse campus. This diversity is reflected in the College of Engineering. It is this mixture of ethnicities, genders, nationalities, and socioeconomic backgrounds that helps makes UTA great. Our Facilities

The College of Engineering has more than 417,359 square feet of space in seven buildings on and off campus. The Engineering Research Building, completed in 2011, is a 234,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art building that allows for interdisciplinary interaction and collaboration between the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the Department of Bioengineering and the College of Science. The Science and Engineering Innovation and Research Building, scheduled to open in 2018, will allow increased research and collaboration among faculty with interests in the health sciences. The Shimadzu Institute Nanotechnology Research Center is the most advanced clean room in the region and provides multiple opportunities for exploration at the nano-scale.
