How to Apply

Students must submit their applications by the deadline (TBD). Notification of acceptance will be sent as soon as possible. The link to apply for the Summer 2021 session will be available at a later date. Please check back for updates.

About the Program

Through an engaging series of role-plays, this student-centered program will incorporate various topics relevant to traveling to Russia or the Middle East and will prepare students for a variety of cultural and language situations, allowing for mastery of basic literacy and communicative skills in Russian or Arabic. Summer 2021 program dates are TBD. Classes will be held Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm.

Earn Credit Hours

Upon successful completion of the program, students will achieve a high novice or low intermediate level of Russian or Arabic language proficiency and will have a basic understanding of Russian or Arab culture. Students who wish to continue their Russian or Arabic studies at UTA will be eligible to earn up to eight university credit hours through the university placement test at no personal expense and will be able to become part of the UTA language learning community.
