Faculty Awards and New Faculty Reception heading on pamphlet

Faculty Awards

Each year, the College of Liberal Arts recognizes its outstanding faculty for their tireless efforts in furthering CoLA’s mission, vision, and commitment to elevate the human condition through creativity, innovation, diversity, and exploration of curiosity in and around the UT Arlington campus community.

Student Awards

acCOLAdes

The acCOLAdes event is a recognition ceremony for student recipients of awards and scholarships from the College of Liberal Arts (CoLA) and the University of Texas at Arlington. The CoLA students that receive recognition represent many disciplines, but they have one thing in common: a standard of excellence.

The 2018 acCOLAdes Ceremony is April'19, from 3:30 PM to 4 PM in the MAC, Lonestar Theatre. A reception is immediately following on the 2nd floor until 5:30 PM. All CoLA Faculty are invited to attend to honor student excellence. Select students will receive a personal invitation from the Dean to attend the ceremony.

The acCOLAdes ceremony allows an opportunity highlight student excellence in a single sitting, college-wide. We also want to acknowledge the generosity of CoLA friends and supporters and the long-term impacts which their gifts are having. The lengthy list of student achievers is reflecting the generous support of our these community partners and reflects great credit upon them, the College of Liberal Arts and The University of Texas at Arlington.

To learn more about opportunities to support student achievement and research, contact CoLA's Office of Development at (817) 272-6315 or (817) 272-6314.
