The Learning Resource Center (LRC) at the University of Texas at Arlington is committed to helping every student succeed in mathematics by providing free, high-quality tutoring and a supportive learning environment. Through collaborative engagement, accessible resources, and hands-on guidance, the LRC builds student confidence, strengthens problem-solving skills, and encourages independent learning. By partnering with faculty and embracing a culture of inclusivity and excellence, the LRC serves as a vital hub where students can grow academically and reach their full potential.

Interested in sharing your knowledge of math with your peers?  Looking to build lasting connections across campus?  Apply to be a Math Tutor in the Math Learning Resource Center!

To apply:

  1. Click here to access Handshake
  2. Update your Handshake profile information and upload a current resume, if necessary
  3. Locate the ‘Math Learning Resource Center Tutor’ job posting
  4. Click ‘Apply’
  5. When prompted, complete the ‘Math LRC Tutor Application and attach to Handshake application
  6. Submit application in Handshake

Please note that hiring is done based on staffing needs.  If staffing needs arise, we will review all candidates and contact you if we wish to conduct an interview.  We encourage you to apply so that we have your application on file for consideration should staffing needs arise.
