The Preventing and Intervening on Violence Over Time (PIVOT) Lab brings together interdisciplinary researchers to better understand interpersonal violence across the lifespan and the complex trajectories of victimization and survivorship. We use mixed-methods and community-engaged approaches to center the lived experiences of those impacted by violence. Our mission is to generate actionable evidence that strengthens prevention, improves responses, and supports healing at individual, community, and system levels. Through collaborative inquiry, PIVOT strives to advance safety, equity, and wellbeing for all.
