Director of Practicum Education

The Director of Practicum Education will provide organization, supervision and leadership of the SSW Practicum Education department. Work closely with the Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs and the Academic Affairs team to develop and implement practical solutions to complex Practice problems; Monitor and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Practicum Education team; Direct efforts to expand new practicum placement opportunities for students.

Practicum Education Coordinator

The Practicum Education Community Coordinator supports the SOCW Practicum Education office by developing key community collaborations with potential practicums and volunteer sites in communities where the students are located. Will work directly with organizations and communities to build relationships, provide professional support, and seek to build connections between UTA and community-based organizations.

Practicum Specialist

(Clinical Experience Coordinator)

The Clinical Experience Coordinator III is responsible for the identification, selection and placement of social work BSW and MSW students in the appropriate Practicum education settings.

Academic Advisor III

(Three Vacancies)

The Academic Advisor III provides direct academic advising to individuals or groups of Bachelors and Masters level School of Social Work students to enhance the academic experience, student retention and completion. Assists with the administration and coordination of one or more essential academic advising program(s) or initiative(s).

Administrative Assistant II

The Administrative Assistant II will provide varied administrative support for the Student and Academic Affairs team to include Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Academic Advising and Practicum Education, Interprofessional Education, and BSW, MSW, and DSW Programs. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating daily office management, and managing correspondence, and processing documents for personnel matters.

Social Worker II

The Social Worker II position works at the Center for Addiction and Recovery Studies (CARS) to provide prevention and intervention services in the community. This position works with at-risk children, youth, adults, and families. The work completed by the social worker may be provided in the office or at community sites such as local schools, medical facilities, client homes, non-profit agencies, community centers and other community sites.
