Families & Guest

Welcome to the Maverick Family!

Families and guests are valued members of our Maverick family. New Maverick Orientation is the first step in your exciting new journey for you and your student. The New Maverick Orientation Family/Guest Experience is designed to acquaint you with the University and all it has to offer.

The Family/Guest Experience occurs simultaneously with the new student program. While your student is required to attend New Maverick Orientation, the parent experience is optional, but highly encouraged.

What You Can Expect in the Family/Guest Experience:

  • Discover how you can stay connected to UTA and support your student
  • Learn about campus resources, academic expectations, and involvement opportunities
  • Ask questions of current students, faculty, and staff
  • Meet other family members
