Freshman Orientation Dates

If you plan to enroll starting in UTA’s spring or summer term, you will receive a one-day orientation. If you are starting at UTA in the fall semester, you will enjoy a two-day orientation with an overnight stay on campus.

Summer Freshman Orientation

Many freshmen get a head start on their college experience through summer coursework. Freshmen entering UTA in the summer will enjoy a two-day orientation experience. This session will provide helpful information about UTA, help you connect with other students, and prepare you to begin courses in the summer. Be aware that there are two summer terms, so be sure to select a session that occurs before your summer term begins.

Students starting courses in Summer Session I should attend orientation prior to the start of classes on June 6th.

Students starting courses in Summer Session II should attend orientation prior to the start of classes on July 11th.
