New Maverick International Orientation is designed specifically for those students who are starting UTA with an F-1 or J-1 visa. Making new friends, asking questions of the Maverick Orientation Leaders, and learning how things work at UT Arlington will help make your transition much easier.

International Orientation for graduate and transfer students is a one-day program (8:00 a.m.-4:00p.m.), while International Orientation for new freshmen is a two-day program.

If you are starting classes in summer or fall semester, your orientation will consist of two parts: online pre-orientation modules and a live orientation program. The pre-orientation modules will be available once you register for your orientation session and introduce you to various aspects of UTA. Our live orientations will occur throughout the summer, and they are filled to the brim with information and fun.
