Things You Need

To be prepared for your orientation session, check out the lists below for the things you should bring with you. Be sure to review the appropriate list for which type of orientation you are attending.

    • Proof of a positive test taken within 90 days and clearance from a doctor to leave quarantine/isolation
  • Facial covering (mask) that covers your nose and mouth (these are required on the UTA campus despite the lifting of statewide and countywide mask mandates in March.)
  • Pre-Orientation E-mail, which will be sent three days before your orientation session (printed or electronic version)
  • Government Issued Picture ID
  • Pen & Paper
  • Jacket or Sweatshirt as the buildings can be quite cold

  • AP, IB, and other test scores
  • Dual credit transcripts from the college(s) where the courses were taken

  • Towels

  • Laptop, tablet, or phone with the Zoom app downloaded
  • Pen & Paper
  • Snack and a drink
  • Any questions you have about the first-year experience
  • A great attitude!
