Additional Info: Dr. Henry oversees student affairs; promotes research faculty and undergraduate students internships; assists students with prestigious non-UTA fellowships; reviews science-based senior projects; advises pre-healthcare undergraduates and addresses student grievances. His duties also include Honors College assessment plans for the University Unit Effectiveness Process utilizing the Online Assessment Tracking System, and assessment of Honors College student critical thinking, analytical reasoning, written communication and problem solving. Dr. Henry represents the Honors College as a member of the Undergraduate Research Committee, the Sustainability Committee, the First Year Excellence Committee, and other academic committees. Dr. Henry has worked as a television news anchor, practice management consultant, dentist, professional musician, graphic artist and biologist. He currently teaches human anatomy and physiology, and online distance education courses at UTA.

Additional Information: Rebekah Chojnacki (pronounced hoy-NOT-skee) advises juniors, seniors, and Goolsby students in the Honors College with regard to Honors progress, the Capstone Project, and graduation. In addition to advising, Bobbie coordinates the Capstone Project Information Sessions, the Honors Research Symposium (HRS), the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships, oversees Honors Credit Contracts, and serves as a liaison to the Office of Records and Registration and the University Commencement committee. She also teaches UNIV-HN 1131. Rebekah is the current president for Chapter 300 of Phi Kappa Phi.

Additional Info: Cheryl advises all students who are new to the Honors College in their first semester to discuss Honors requirements and benefits during their initial advising session. She also meets with students during their second year in Honors to discuss progress and how the program is going for each students. Cheryl is also the academic advisor for students in the Interdisciplinary Studies program.

Additional Info: As the Coordinator of Recruitment and Outreach for the Honors College, Bree oversees all aspects of Honors Student Recruitment. She manages the admissions process by meeting with prospective Honors students one on one, presenting at various UTA admissions and recruitment events, inviting eligible current UTA students to apply to HC, and overseeing the admissions review process. Bree also advises the Honors Advocates, a group of elite Honors students who represent the college at events across campus and assist new and continuing Honors students through their transition into the college. Lastly, she assists in the coordination of the college's marketing and communication efforts by managing the Honors College social media accounts, and conducting Alumni Outreach to keep our Honors Mavs connected even after they graduate from the college. During the fall semester, Bree teaches a section of UNIV-HN 1131. Bree also represents the Honors College while serving on the Recruitment Coordinating Committing, Campus Visit Advisory Committee, and is the staff advisor for the Mavs Guitar Club.
