About Sean: Sean joined the Honors College as Dean in February 2024.

About Aresia: As the Program Manager for Recruitment, Aresia Arthurs leads recruitment and admissions efforts for the Honors College, supporting prospective students throughout the application and enrollment process. She coordinates outreach initiatives, scholarship programs, onboarding experiences, and student engagement activities. Aresia also works closely with current Honors students by supporting retention initiatives, leadership development opportunities, and programs that foster academic success and community engagement. Aresia earned her MA in Technical Communication from Sam Houston State University and is a Terry Scholar alumna of Texas State University.

About Christi: As the Program Manager for Undergraduate Research, Dr. Cook assists students in the research process. She advises juniors and seniors by tracking Honors progress, and she assists with the Capstone Project by teaching the HONR 4000 Capstone Course. Dr. Cook is also responsible for coordinating the Honors Research Symposium (HRS), the summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship program (URF), and overseeing Honors Credit Contracts. She received her BS in Psychology and BA in Spanish from Abilene Christian University, her MA in Women's Studies from New College of California, and PhD in English from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Additional Info: Jim manages course scheduling, departmental data, departmental technical and event support, DSA/ISA, the Honors College website, and internal web application development. He received a BS in German from UTA.

About Terence: Terence advises all first and second year Honors Engineering students. Terence received his BA in Applied Science from University of Louisiana Lafayette and M.Ed. from TCU.
