Pre-Medical Programs

To complement the pre-med curriculum, students may elect to earn Honors degrees concurrently with their majors. The Honors College offers interdisciplinary coursework in small-class settings, enrichment and service learning opportunities, and the Research Thesis/Creative Project, all of which add rigor and individuality to any degree plan. In addition to those special opportunities, medical and dental schools look favorably on student applicants who complete Honors degrees. Honors coursework can be incorporated easily into Biology and Chemistry degrees.
