Set in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina in 1945-46 with flashbacks to 1923. Together they discover a stunning secret with the power to transform their lives. Bright Star deals frankly with issues of sex, reproductive choices, childbirth, parenting, and alcohol use.
