ABOUT THE COLLEGE

The College of Architecture, Planning, and Public Affairs (CAPPA) at UTA offers degree programs in architecture, interior design, sustainable urban design, landscape architecture, planning (master’s and Ph.D.), and public administration (Master of Public Administration and Ph.D.). Three undergraduate minors are also offered: architectural history, environmental/sustainability studies, and urban affairs.  Graduate students can select from five certificate programs: Public Budgeting and Financial Management, Urban Nonprofit Management, Development Review, Geographic Information Systems, and Transportation Planning and Policy. Two new degree programs were launched in September 2021: B.S. in sustainable urban design and a post-professional M.S. in sustainable building technology. Faculty and dedicated staff inspire, motivate, and educate students to pursue excellence in academic scholarship, design practice, creative thinking and critical reflection.

AVAILABLE STAFF POSITION: TEACHING ASSISTANT (TA)

Seeking a qualified individual for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position in the field of Concrete Design of Structures. This position will support two courses: Structures III (Concrete Design) and Structural Systems for Architectural Engineers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in course instruction, grading, and conducting tutorials.
  • Provide support in the areas of Concrete Design of Structures.
  • Collaborate with the course instructor to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Concrete Design and related materials.
  • Enrolled in the relevant graduate program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

$12 per hour for a maximum of 20 hours per week. Starting January 16th to May 31st.
