Students must be in good academic standing with the University of Texas at Arlington and meet all entrance scholarship eligibility requirements for Internal (UT Arlington) Scholarships.

Internal (UT Arlington) Scholarships

Several scholarships have been established at the University to enhance academic opportunities for Architecture and Interior Design students. Students must be in good academic standing with the University of Texas at Arlington and meet all entrance scholarship eligibility requirements.

Architecture Scholarships

IIBEC North Texas Graduate Fellowships will be awarded to graduate architecture students with a demonstrated interest in building construction technology and building science. Applicants must be graduate students in good standing with the School of Architecture who have a minimum GPA of 3.25 and an expressed interest in assisting faculty research related to building construction technology.

In your application:

External Architecture Scholarships

Texas Architectural Foundation Scholarships

The Texas Architectural Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Texas Society of Architects, offers annual financial aid to architecture students in Texas through a diverse range of scholarship opportunities as listed on the attached document. The total amount exceeds $38,000 with $8,000 of these funds specifically dedicated for scholarships to UTA CAPPA Architecture students. Typically few students apply and so the chances of being receiving a scholarship are very high.

The portal to submit for Texas Architectural Foundation Scholarships is now open. Twenty scholarships are available for the 2024-2025 academic year. A completed application and portfolio are required for consideration.

Dallas CSI Foundation Scholarships

The Dallas CSI Foundations was founded in 1984 with the goal to financially support students from the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area pursuing professional degrees in architecture, architectural engineering or the construction sciences while attending one of the accredited colleges or universities within the CSI Region (Texas and Oklahoma).

Applications are open to both Graduate and Undergraduate students who meet the requirements listed in the Dallas CSI Foundation Scholarship rules and Regulations. Selected applicants shall receive a $2,000 award for the 2022 - 2023 academic year.

Fort Worth Chapter of Construction Specifications Scholarship Program

Applicants must be planning to major, or be majoring, in one of the design professionals, such as Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering (i.e. Civil, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, etc.) or construction related professionals such as Construction Management or Construction Engineering. 

The Fort Worth CSI Scholarship Committee may award a maximum of three scholarships, one each in the amount of $4,500; $3,000; and $1,500. Scholarship awards will be paid directly to the student’s registration account at the college where he/she will be attending.

Please be aware that the application requires an essay and submission of college transcripts, so plan your time accordingly.
