Architectural Intern

Detailed description of position:

ALLIANCE ARCHITECTURE is an award-winning full-service architectural and engineering firm with highly experienced architects, engineers, and technical staff. Our client-focused firm serves the greater Midwest and beyond. Our core practice areas include education (all levels), municipal, cultural, multi-family, and senior living development.

We are seeking experienced candidates for architectural internship positions in our Frisco, Texas office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate under the supervision and guidance of full time architectural and engineering staff.
  • Production of architectural deliverables from conceptual design through construction phases.
  • Assist with other project-related aspects including product research, presentation boards, renderings, code research, and maintaining project records.
  • Attending project meetings and onsite inspections.
  • Coordination with architects and engineers both within the company and with consultants.

Requirements/Key Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in an architectural or engineering program.
  • Able to complete internship of up to six months working within our studio.
  • Passion for and experience with building design and planning.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, InDesign, Photoshop, Rhino, and/or Enscape is beneficial.
  • Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written, be detail oriented, and must be able to work within a team environment.

Detailed description of position:

Architectural design and landscape renderings needed to develop a small infill city lot (50'x135') inside the Historic District of Lake Worth Beach, Fl. Preferred design concept should incorporate traditional Mid Century Modern features. Structure should be attached one story twin villas, with a city mandated lot coverage of 2,700 sf.
