The Career Development Center posts internships on our job listing database, Handshake, from employers seeking to hire UTA students. In addition, our new exciting partnership program with employers, the UTA Economic Development through Guidance Education Program (EDGE) is a dedicated internship initiative with the goal of developing internships and other experiential learning opportunities for you.

UTA/DART Transportation Leadership Academy

UTA has partnered with the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) to create an opportunity for you to be included in a year-long DART/UTA Transportation Leadership Academy. This Academy will provide you the chance to: Participate in a paid internship; achieve real work experience, especially as it pertains to the transportation industry, by working on a DART project; develop leadership skills by interacting with DART executives; and, the potential to be interviewed for employment at DART.

COLLEGE WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM (CWEP) WITH LOCKHEED MARTIN

The UTA Lockheed Martin College Work Experience Program (CWEP) is an ideal opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to gain real-world work experience relevant to their academic and career goals while maintaining full-time enrollment with the University of Texas at Arlington. The program provides students with a year-round paid opportunity to explore a unique training experience on the cutting edge of technology.
