Career Development Appointments & Support

The UTA Career Development Center offers multiple ways to connect with a career consultant—whether you need a quick question answered or in-depth career guidance. Explore the options below to find the support that best fits your needs.

Career Spot Drop-Ins are brief consultations (15 minutes or less) designed to address immediate career-related questions. These sessions are ideal if you need fast guidance or are unsure where to start.

Available: Monday–Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (When the university is open)

  • Resume and cover letter feedback
  • Interview preparation tips
  • Job and internship search strategies
  • Networking guidance
  • Overview of Career Development Center services

If you need more time or focused guidance, schedule a one-on-one appointment with a career consultant. These sessions allow for in-depth discussion and tailored strategies based on your goals.

During a One-on-One Appointment, You Can:

Appointment Expectations:

  • Please arrive on time or call 817-272-2932 if you’re running late
  • If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may need to reschedule
  • Come prepared with goals or questions to maximize your session

Career Collab is a small-group career consultation series designed to provide intensive, interactive support in a collaborative setting. Each session is limited to five participants to ensure personalized feedback.
