UTA Engineering Summer Camps

Students at Summer Camp

Welcome to the Blazing Days of Engineering!

This summer the UTA College of Engineering will host a new type of summer program. We will be putting on a series of one-day workshops that focus on specific areas of engineering. During these workshops, students in 5th – 9th grade and their accompanying adult will spend the day learning about a particular field or topic in engineering. The day could consist of presentations from faculty, lab tours, experiments, hands-on projects, and more here on the UTA campus.

We will be posting a schedule of these Blazing Days of Engineering and students can sign up for any and all of the workshop days.

Students at an Engineering Summer Camp

The cost for a Blazing Day workshop will be $60 per student and each workshop will be capped at 25 students. Blazing Days will run from approximately 9am to 4pm and will include a pizza lunch. Students must register in advance for the Blazing Day workshops.

Each student or group of students must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the workshop day. The responsible adult can include parents, guardians, teachers, scout leaders, youth group leaders, etc. and each adult can accompany up to 6 students to our event. Each student registers individually and will list, in their registration, the name(s) of the responsible adults who will be with them during the workshop day.
