UTA civil engineering student Trey Hudson

Meet Trey

All through high school, I took engineering and competed in different engineering competitions. I really enjoyed my experiences in engineering and working on solving problems. Civil engineering really interested me. I also did well while competing in different bridge competitions.

Because he knew I was interested in civil engineering, my grandfather introduced me to a civil engineer that I got to sit down and talk with for a long time. When I meet with different types of engineers, I really find myself wanting to learn more about civil engineering, so that conversation was helpful.

When I graduate, I hope to work under a licensed civil engineer, then get my license and possibly join a firm. Of course, that could change as I learn more during my time here!
